Packing Checklist

Be sure to do the following before your move day.

     1.     Get boxes.

     2.     Grab mattress covers for your mattresses.

     3.     Get tv boxes for your televisions.

     4.     Wrap all glass and mirrors.

Boxes

We take care of everything not going into a box. However, our basic moving service requires customers to do packing of their own boxes. Be sure to get boxes that are medium size, roughly the size of a microwave.

Mattress Covers

In order to move mattresses safely without damage, mattresses need to have mattress covers. Pickup some mattress covers to ensure they are protected for interstate transport. These are easy to find at Walmart or target stores for typically less than $10.

TV Boxes

Be sure to grab tv boxes for your televisions. These are required in order to protect the screen of your televisions during the long distance move. If you don’t have the original box for the television, that’s fine.

Mirrors & Glassware

Pickup some bubble wrap and put layers over your mirrors and anything else made of glass. Bubble wrap is very affordable, and worth the investment to keep your glass items safe. Also, boxes for your mirrors and pictures are required as well.

These packing materials are essential for you to purchase to avoid any upcharges on moving day.

Uboxes.com offers everything you need for packing supplies. Lowes and Home Depot also sell packing materials.
